Cairns Basketball Incorporated (CBI) has appointed Adllins Media as its Official Marketing Partner, a collaboration that will strengthen how the organisation communicates, engages and grows across Far North Queensland.
Adllins Media brings extensive experience in strategic marketing, digital communications, brand development and community engagement throughout the region as well as nationally.
The partnership will see Adllins Media work closely with CBI to elevate the visibility, professionalism and reach of basketball across all levels of the game, from grassroots participation through to elite pathways.
CBI General Manager Luca Vergari said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to growth, clarity and community connection.
“Cairns Basketball is proud to team up with Adllins Media as our Official Marketing Partner,” Mr Vergari said.
“As our sport continues to grow, it’s critical that the way we communicate matches the quality of what’s happening on and off the court.
“Adllins Media brings the expertise and local knowledge to help us tell our story more clearly, consistently and professionally.”
Under the partnership, Adllins Media will support Cairns Basketball across a broad range of marketing and communications functions, including brand and communications strategy, digital content and social media, media and public relations, creative design, and sponsorship marketing and partner integration.
A key focus of the collaboration will be the development and rollout of Cairns Basketball’s 2026 Sponsorship Prospectus, ensuring businesses across Far North Queensland have access to meaningful, well-presented opportunities to align with the continued growth of basketball in the region.
Adllins Media Director Ange Collins said the partnership was built on shared values and a strong connection to community sport.
“Basketball plays an important role in the Cairns community, and Cairns Basketball has an incredible story to tell,” Ange said.
“We’re excited to partner with an organisation that is so deeply invested in pathways, participation and people.
“Our role is to help to amplify that story, support sustainable growth and create strong connections between the sport, its members and the wider community.”
Mr Vergari said the partnership would enhance the experience for players, families, sponsors and supporters alike.
“This is about more than marketing,” he said.
“It’s about strengthening how we connect with our community and ensuring Cairns Basketball continues to grow in a way that is inclusive, professional and future-focused.”
The partnership is effective immediately and will support Cairns Basketball as it continues to expand participation, strengthen pathways and deliver high-quality experiences across all programs and competitions.
