About the Company
AFL Cape York House Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation building positive futures for young indigenous Australians. To enable the program to be delivered effectively, we have established AFL Cape York House boarding facilities for boys and girls. The Foundation’s purpose is to ‘support students and families participating in AFL Cape York coordinated programs in the areas of Education, Well Being Support, AFL Pathways, Careers, Transition, Residential Care and Outreach Programs.’
The Direction
Today Adllins Media represents the Cairns-based AFL Cape York Foundation with their marketing strategy, development, creation, and implementation to achieve the board and management objectives both locally and abroad. The main company purpose is to ensure our young Indigenous Australians are provided with education, work experience and lifestyle opportunities in a safe boarding house facility. Accessibility to this facility is for people located in remote communities across the top of Australia and Groote Eylandt.
These opportunities are provided to some of Australia’s most socio-economically disadvantaged families and are a testament to what makes Australian culture great.
The relationship between AFL Cape York Ltd and Adllins Media encompasses three different aspects embodied under the Foundation. These include the boys boarding home in Portsmith, the girls boarding home in Redlynch and the Eagles AFL football team. The marketing vision is to create platforms where friends, family and relatives can engage and keep abreast of what experiences the students and supervisors are providing to their young people.
To deliver this, Adllins Media are using a wide range of social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, alongside EDM Marketing to list but a few.
We are certainly proud and privileged to be partnering with such a progressive business that’s main purpose is to acknowledge, facilitate and implement programs for the betterment of young Indigenous Australians. In 2020 Adllins Media became the only business in its industry in Far Northern Queensland that holds a reconciliation action plan (RAP).
